· Inspiration

I began conceptualizing “Tu” in 2023, when I was in the second year of my bachelor’s degree in philosophy in France, so I didn’t have much time for in-depth thematic research. 2023 was the Year of the Rabbit in China, which made “Tu” my first doll based on the Chinese zodiac.

· Process

When I began modeling Tu, I had in mind a girl with a brighter, sweeter vibe and a more obvious smile. Then, during the summer vacation, I finally had time to complete her outfit—which follows a similar style to my previous doll.
